Revit Specialist

Reports to: Director of Drafting and Design

Location: Provo, UT

Revit skills we re looking for someone who knows Revit inside & out AND backwards! Skills acquired through education and experience. Responsibilities of the Revit Specialist:

  • Collaborate with project management, MEP engineers and CAD teammates to create detailed construction design and drawing packages for aquatic treatment systems such as circulation, filtration and disinfection.
  • Help create and improve upon piping and construction layout plans for such systems.
  • Convert unpolished initial designs into working construction documents.
  • Produce construction-ready packages using 2D and 3D CAD design software.
  • Assist engineering team in assessing calculations to optimize system performance.
  • Work closely with mechanical, electrical, plumbing and structural engineering teams on multiple projects, often concurrently.
  • Consistently use creativity and problem-solving skills to exceed customers expectations.

Qualifications of the Revit Specialist:

  • Associate s degree and/or certification in drafting technology or related technical field.
  • Bachelor s degree in engineering, computer science or related technical field, preferred.
  • 2+ years professional experience in MEP drafting / design.
  • Demonstrable 2D and 3D AutoCAD B.I.M. (Building Information Modeling) capabilities, required.
  • Working knowledge of Revit, a MUST!
  • Experience with piping / plumbing / HVAC design, desirable.
  • Ability to adapt to work effectively self-sufficiently and in a highly collaborative environment.
  • Capacity to follow detailed instructions and established procedures.
  • Exemplary written and verbal communication capabilities.
  • Authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
