The Cassette Floor Technician operates a fast pack ARxIUM machine and assures that company standards are maintained and product integrity is preserved while preparing prescriptions under the pharmacist's supervision.

Operating the fast pack ARxIUM machine (training will be provided)
Dispensing medications in cassettes for psychiatric hospitals
Ability to meet physical demands involving extended periods of standing, walking, bending, kneeling and reaching
Ability to perform tasks under pressure, and within a deadline driven environment
Accurately preparing prescriptions under the pharmacists supervision
Organizing the pharmacy shelves (Drugs, supplies, etc.)
Removing out of date items from inventory/shelves
Processing returned medications from facility for credit or destruction
Returning medications on the pharmacy shelves
Organizing returned medications from facilities
Should be able to work overtime, if necessary
Replenishing Emergency Kits to be delivered within the next scheduled run
Attention to detail
There is no supervisory responsibility for this position
This position operates in a long-term care facility. This role may use standard office and/or pharmacy equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, rolling carts, fax machines and etc. A large portion of work shall be performed in the long-term care facility where the noise may be loud.

The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, bend, crouch, walk, crawl intermittently

Education and Experience
High school or equivalents
Registered Pharmacy Technician in applicable State
One to two years experience in long term care preferred
